3/14/24 I went to baymont inn at brooks ky, rep named alex, was working desk. I was getting reservations for 3/16/24 to 3/17/24.
I already called day before to get information on 1 bed/ 1couch room.. rules and everything explained to me. On the day I went in again the rep went over rules, I told alex that I understood, he again said rules 4x more then said how some guests destroyed room as if he were comparing me with strangers, I told him I didnt appreciate the repeated rules and comparison. I paid for the service and deposit $196.00, I asked for receipt 2x, he finally wrote on regular paper $100.
at that moment I didnt feel comfortable with a made up unprofessional receipt.
I ended up just putting my card on file and will pay on day of arrival.
There was a white male behind me who was getting same service reservation and payment not 1x did alex explain rules to him that is what made me feel discriminated against I started recording the entire experience with this hotel from the beginning of rule explaining. Totally different I was polite the entire time, this treatment should not be tolerated in any way.
I called today for a question about checking in at 3pm and again same experience again at this point I cancelled my reservation so happened my daughter was on phone with me and she witnessed how I was spoken to, distasteful.
I would not recommend this place for anyone of color!

I received part of the refund $42.00 dollars but the haven't sent my $100 deposit yet. Both my grandsons are sick an my daughter.
I'm have to take some of the $42 dollars an get some medicine. I'm praying they send my $100 deposit today.
Searched around was about to go to Holiday inn but they had a no smoke policy. So went behind Holiday Inn an went to the Baymont by Wyndham big mistake. The young lady was kind let me in. I asked her the rate for double bed smoking room.
She said she didn't have anymore smoking rooms.But she had a double bed non smoking I asked her how much she said 86.90 plus $100 deposit. I said dang to everybody got $100 deposit she said yeah most hotels around there do. So I ask before I do it will I get my $100 dollars back tomorrow when I check out she said yes. I said so when I check out I will get my money back she said yes again.
I said ok can I get a room on the bottom floor. She told me they served breakfast at 6 am to 9 am I said ok. She gave us room 118. When I walked in the room it had a odor not like it had been freshly clean so I told my daughter let me turn on the air maybe no one has been in the room that's why it smelled that way I should have turned around that was the first red flag.
But my daughter said she was ready to lay down because her baby was sleep. So I turned the air on and sprayed some of my perfume. I usually go threw the room but we were all tired. So we all came in.
I went straight to get in the shower. Once I got in the shower an closed the door. There was a towel hanging on the back of the door. Like someone had already been there or the housekeeping didn't clean the room properly.
I told my daughter either someone was in here before us or they just didn't clean the room. My grandson got directly under the covers when usually I inspect everything but we all were so tired. Then my grandson took a shower. At appearance everything looked clean until I looked at the chairs they had nasty looking stains in them.
I looked at the covers on top didn't pull the covers back to look on the side of the bed I would be sleeping on because my grandson had just laid down. Once I got under the covers I started feeling like something was crawling on me I told my daughter I know I'm not tripping it keep feeling like something crawling on me but I don't see anything. Then I got out the bed an looked on the bed it was little small hairs not mine then little black and brown dots . I said yeah I can't sleep on this .
So I tried to call the office but the phone didn't work . So I fell a sleep on top of the covers not even 15 minutes later I woke up an said something in this room biting the *** out of me an I can't see it. My my daughter started itching an said me too . We all took four showers a piece from itching.
The bottles of conditioner and shampoo were used. So we had our own soap. I had to take off my wig I was itching so bad. Then my daughter an her son's starting feeling sick then me.
I said we gotta get out of here. But we were tried I called the front office on my cell phone the room phone didn't work. I told her what was going on she said I should have called her earlier. Come to the office when the Manager comes in at 8:30 I told her I would be up there around 930 or 10 am when we ready to leave.
I stayed up the rest of the morning I was so tired . My grandson woke up out his sleep itching like crazy I told him go take a shower we leaving this room got all us sick not feeling good an itching. I took pictures packed up the car an went to the office. When I talk to the Manager she said will you are trying to say we have bugs do I have proof.
I told I never said y'all had bugs or trying to say they have bugs but it was something in that room that we couldn't see biting us. I did say that it's something in the room because we all itched all night an now we don't feel good. So she said I would have to fill out an four page report of what happened I said ok. Then she said she couldn't refund all my money that she would only take $30 dollars off.
But after she file the report it may be more. I told her I got to drive all way back to Atlanta ,Ga an I only slept 15 minutes in the room because I was itching . Plus the room was dirty like someone was living in there before we came it had a odor an something in there was biting us. She said you might get more of a refund once they review the report but right now only $30 dollars off my bill.
Then I ask will that be returned back to my card immediately like my $100 deposit. She said no mame. I said no mame.She said the $100 dollars will not be back on your card within some days. I said no mame that is not what your clerk told me.
The only reason why I did it is because she said I would get my money right back when I check out. She said no mame I don't know why she told you that. I said that's some *** I only had a certain amount of money an because she said my money would be immediately refunded when I checked out that's the only reason I did it. She said she sorry.
I was misinformed she will talk to her vlerk. Her clerk was right there. I told her that don't have nothing to do with me .She said she was sorry about the miscommunication I told her that wasn't miscommunication that was a lie I told her that don't have anything to do with me . I need my money..
Mame I need my money she said there was nothing she could do. I said if your the Manager u can refund my money. That it's not my fault if your representative is not properly trained. She said there is nothing she could do.
She printed out some paperwork then give me one page and told me just write my statement about the room. But I wrote about them not giving mey deposit back immediately at check out as promised. Now they put me in a bad situation. Then when I asked her to make a copy of my statement It looked like at the bottom she whited out that the room wasn't cleaned.
Then when I ask were they a franchise she said yes. I asked her for a corporate number she gave me a local number that was disconnected. This was one of the worst experience I ever had. We left there without my $100 which I needed for gas itching and sick.
I called the 800 they took me in a circle. The young lady said she was transferring me to a Manager whom escalate my complaint instead she sounded like the same person pretending to be a manager . Then she told me someone would contact me in a week. I said a week I need my money ASAP.
I worked in Customer Service over 15 years couldn't believe she was playing games put me on hold but sound like the same person after she said she was transferring me to a Manager.
I just ended the call.i Called two other numbers none of them could give corporate number.i wish I would have listen to my grandson an went to Holiday Inn . I paid $186.90 only to leave there from 2am to 10:15 sick has a dog an $186.90 less than what I came with. I had $80.00 left to buy food with and gas an make it back home. I got back to Atlanta I had $17.00 dollars.THIS WAS ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES I EVER HAD.
IF U EVER SEE A BAYMONT INN SUITES BY WYNDHAM DONT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THEY LIE TO GET YOUR MONEY, THEY LIE ABOUT GIVING YOUR DEPOSIT IMMEDIATELY BACK AFTER CHECKING OUT, THEY LIE THAT THEIR ROOMS ARE CLEAN. IF ALL MANAGERS ARE LIKE THE ONE WHO DENIED GIVING ME MY MONEY BUT SHE LIED ABOUT I WOULD HAVE TO WRITE OUT A FOUR PAGE REPORT THEN GAVE ME ONE PAGE THEN WHITED OUT OR CUT OFF THE PART I WROTE THE ROOM Wasn't CLEAN. THEN SHE MADE ME SHOW HER PROOF .
LIKE I WAS LYING AN SHE SAID SAID BED BUGS I NEVER SAID WHAT KIND OF BUGS SO THAT MAFE ME THINK SHE KNOW THEY GOT BUGS.THEN SHE NEVER APOLOGIZED ABOUT THE ROOM NOT BEENING CLEAN THE ONLY THING SHE APOLOGIZED ABOUT WAS NOT GIVING ME MY REFUND IMMEDIATELY BACK AND HER CLERK LYING TO GET THE SALE. I WAS SO ANGRY BUT I DIDNT GO OFF. I JUST WILL NEVER GIVE THEM MY BUSINESS AGAIN . I WISH I NEVER WENT THERE.
WHEN WE LEFT WE IMMEDIATELY WENT TO GET MEDICINE. OUR THROATS WERE HURTING. THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN . BOTH MY GRANDSON'S WAS SICK GOING BACK TO ATLANTA AN MY DAUGHTER.
I TOOK MEDICINE TO BE ABLE TO FUNCTION BECAUSE I FELT SICK AS WILL. BEFORE I LEFT I SPOKE WITH HOUSEKEEPING AN TOLD HER WHAT HAPPEN . I TOLD HER SOMEBODY NOT DOING THEY JOB .
WE ITCHED ALL NIGHT AN NOW ALL OF US ARE SICK SHE APOLOGIZED FOR THE BAD STAY AN SAID MAYBE THEY WILL GIVE YOU A FULL REFUND I TOLD HER THEY NEED TO BUT That's NOT WHAT HAPPEN. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM Baymont BY WYNDHAM EVER AGAIN I Will Rather SLEEP IN MY CAR IF THEY WAS THE LAST OR ONLY HOTEL I WOULDN'T RENT A ROOM EVER AGAIN FROM THEM FOR REAL.

We booked a room at the Baymont in Fargo North Dakota from Feb1-3/24. Upon arrival we were given a room and that room had some sort of black substance on the bed sheets that resembled pepper.
They accommodated us with a different room. I tried to take a shower at 11:00pm and there was no hot water. Tried to call the front desk and the room phone doesnt work( yes its plugged in). Went to the front desk and they said they are having heating issues and hot water issues.
Tried ti watch TV but the wall mount in the TV is broken and the tv faces the floor. Went to bed only ti get no sleep because there was a fight in the hallway that started at 12:15 am. Tried to have a shower in the morning and no hot water. Im not a person who needs fancy places to stay but we will not be staying a second night!
The guy at the front desk said he would give us a 10% discount. That is unacceptable! We are here for a holiday and were looking forward to a relaxing stay. This has not been the case at all.
I have stayed at many Wyndam hotels and had great accommodations. I am very surprised that Wyndam would even be affiliated with a hotel like this.

WE BOOKED A ROOM WITH FIREPLACE AND JACUZZI.WE GOT HERE AND THE TV DIDNT WORK NO SOUND JUST A BLUE SCREEN.SOMEONE COME UP AND FIXED IT.WE ASKED ABOUT THE FIREPLACE AND SAID THEY WOULD TELL THE MAINTANCE MAN.WE ASKED ABOUT IT AGAIN THE NEXT DAY AND HE COME UP AND SAID HE DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT AND HE LOOKED AT IT AND SAID HE COULDNT WORK ON IT WITH US IN THE ROOM.AND THEN HE CAME TO THE ROOM AND SAID JUST SAY SOMETHING WHEN WE LEAVE AND THEY WOULD GIVE US A DISCOUNT.IM TELLING YOU THIS IS RIDICULOUS.WE WANTED A FIREPLACE.YOU SHOULD HAVE TOLD US IT DIDNT WORK BEFOEW WE BOOKED.THE FIREPLACE LOOKS LIKE IT HASNT RUN IN YEARS. Cleaned the room up left small amount of trash at the door stripped the sheets left nothing behind to clean besides the jacuzzi tubcarpet was dirty couldnt get out and chill in the room for a minute and get back in because when we did the dirt that got on our feet from the carpet got in the tubwhile waiting on my cash deposit to be returned maid said we left the jacuzzi dirty.and told us we should have taken a shower first! I guess she wanted some of the deposit money that was being handed to me as a tip..she I was gne give her a tip even though I didnt have too!
But since she wanted to be smart..I had to let her know that cleaning a jacuzzi when u working in a hotel is part of ur job as a maid *** I had to clean it out before I got in myself cause it was residue from when they just took a towel and wipes it instead of cleaning it with a cleanser..so I had to let her know if she didnt like her job then she should get a new oneit was rude as *** for her to say what she said! Cause we far from dirty but that carpet wasnt and u could tell somebody who stayed their prior to us smoked ciggs..I paid 190 for the room she will get her 11 an hour for doing her job but somebody gne end up knocking out the rest of her teeth with her attitude..they might do better if they stop hiring crackheads to work for them

There were 3 occupants, who received 2 door keys for a stay thru 12/28 - 12/30 in room 316. On the morning of the 30th, we all left the hotel together and separated.
It turned out that my elderly uncle, whom has clinical documentation that he suffers from mental illness, was denied access to our room. He was the one who didn't have a key, though ironically he paid for the room. The lady on night shift denied him access, forcing him to be outside in the freezing snowy weather for 3 full hours. We were content with our stay until this unnecessary incident occured.
A handicapped senior citizen who suffers from mental disorder was forced into below zero temperatures for 3 hrs.
I'm going to investigate further into what necessary measures this, borderline abusive act, should implement so this kind of abuse might never be subjected on any future guests. This could be your elderly father.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of entering a Baymont by Wyndham Hotel booking a room and within minutes was running out of the door across the street to a Hampton by Hilton for neglectful property management and customer service. Upon entering the lobby I noticed a type of glass in place to separate the customer service desk from guest, which I didn't think much of due to Covid, however once I began walking through the hallway I noticed bleach stains on the carpets and the appearance that the carpets had not been cleaned in a long while.
Upon entering the room I was immediately struck by the uncleanliness and neglected room, which had dust and some type of bodily fluid on the curtains, broken lamps. Entering the bathroom where I found crud around the tub. It was obvious that room had not been cleaned or maintained to Wyndham Standards. I requested another room where I found the face of the microwave missing and some type of mold or water damage to the ceiling.
I left the room and asked for a refund, which I was met with disinterest and lack of concern. I went across to the street to Hampton by Hilton and got a room

Why didn't you ask the front desk about moving to a room with an operable fireplace? You continued to stay and occupy the room and now have the nerve to complain and ask for a "full refund".
That is a very inappropriate request! People are always trying to get free food and free hotel accommodations because they can't really afford it. The comment about the "nasty" breakfast was thrown in there to add more whine to your complaint. By the way, stop typing in ALL CAPS.
It is considered very unprofessional and downright ignorant to do so. It generally is a sign of someone new to the internet and who doesn't know any better.
If this were the case you should have left. YOU STAY YOU PAY. If you cannot afford a hotel room sleep in a homeless shelter.
